She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Meanwhile, Redding Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were one points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 41-40 heartbreaker at the hands of East Nicolaus. While the Lions didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Spartans 16-11 in the first quarter.
Weed's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Redding Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
