The Holy Redeemer Royals won the last time they faced MMI Preparatory School, and things went their way on Friday too. Holy Redeemer simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat MMI Preparatory School 57-23 at home. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 44-10.
Despite the loss, MMI Preparatory School still got an impressive performance from Bria Kringe, who scored 18 points. Kringe scored a full 78.3% of MMI Preparatory School's points, the seventh time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Holy Redeemer's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.1 points per game. As for MMI Preparatory School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.
Holy Redeemer will head out on the road to face off against Wyoming Area at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Wyoming Area will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 539th, while Holy Redeemer is ranked 141st). As for MMI Preparatory School, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wyoming Seminary College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
