There's no place like home for Lovett, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They blew past Drew Charter 11-1 on Friday. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matches by six runs or more this season.

Lovett pushed their record up to 20-4 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.9 runs over those games. As for Drew Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 12-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lovett will venture away from home to face off against Woodward Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Lions 2.3, the War Eagles 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Drew Charter, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kennesaw Mountain at 5:55 p.m. on the 16th.
