Tranquillity had lost three straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 4-10 to make it four. They lost 12-2 to the Coalinga Horned Toads. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Horned Toads from their previous meeting back in May of 2025.

Tranquillity saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryan Buso, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases. Buso has become a key player for the Tigers: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 1-9 otherwise.
As for Coalinga, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games.
On Coalinga's side, Carson Ocejo and Gracin Redding made a splash while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Ocejo tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. Meanwhile, Redding pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Ocejo has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in eight consecutive appearances. At bat, Ocejo went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Redding went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those three hits gave Ocejo a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Juan Maciel, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Landon Martin was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
Tranquillity has already played their next game, a 12-2 victory against Avenal on the 24th. As for Coalinga, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Dos Palos on the 24th.
