Urban is a perfect 6-0 against Drew since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Blues are taking a road trip to take on the Dragons at 4:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Urban lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Summit Shasta, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's matchup. The Blues were the clear victors by a 19-3 margin over the Black Bears on Friday.
Conor Darling made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Darling was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February of 2025.

Urban always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .727. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Summit Shasta only posted an OBP of .318.
Meanwhile, Drew put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past St. Joseph Notre Dame 12-3.
Like Urban, Drew also got a great game from a two-way player: Cole Gardner. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Gardner was also big at the plate, earning two RBI and one run.
In other batting news, Kyle Ebrado was incredible, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Hunter Block, who went 4-for-5 with three RBI and two runs.
Drew's record now sits at 3-0. As for Urban, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Urban came out on top in a nail-biter against Drew when the teams last played back in March of 2025, sneaking past 9-8. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blues since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
