Jarlon Drye Delivers Electric Effort Vs Carson
Northwest Cabarrus picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jarlon Drye. Drye was dynamite, rushing for 167 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 100 rushing yards dating back to last season.
For the year, Drye has run in 15 touchdowns while averaging 171.9 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 18.86 rushing yards per game.

Jackson Forrest and Co. Win Sixth in a Row
Jackson Forrest was instrumental in extending Northwest Cabarrus's winning streak to six on Friday. Forrest turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up a sack, forcing a fumble, and making 15 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
If history really does repeat itself, Forrest might just drop another big game when he faces off against Concord on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Forrest saw the Spiders), he picked up two sacks, forced a fumble, and made 12 total tackles (7.0 for loss).

While East Rowan might've come up empty on Friday, PJ Butler wasn't going down without a fight. Despite the loss, Butler was still balling out as he picked up 80 receiving yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, defending two passes and snagged an interception.
