It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Sherman Oaks CES Knights ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They managed a 50-46 win over Northridge Academy. The win was familiar territory for Sherman Oaks CES who now have four in a row.
Sherman Oaks CES can attribute much of their success to Kendall Gohata-Chan, who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Bhavya Wijesundara, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Sherman Oaks CES pushed their record up to 7-4 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Northridge Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
Sherman Oaks CES will be playing at home against Fulton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fulton comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Northridge Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against East Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. East Valley is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
