The North Moore Mustangs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a hard 64-45 fall against Seaforth. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for North Moore in their matchups with Seaforth: they've now lost three in a row.
Despite the loss, North Moore still got an impressive performance from Colby Pennington, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 14 rebounds. Those 14 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Michael Copeland was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five rebounds.
North Moore has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Seaforth, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.
North Moore will look to defend their home court on Monday against Graham at 7:30 p.m. Graham is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for Seaforth, they will head out on the road to face off against Jordan-Matthews at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
