Hope hadn't done well against Classical recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Blue Wave blew past the Purple 14-4. The result was nothing new for the Blue Wave, who have now won four matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Hope pushed their record up to 6-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Classical, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.

Hope wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 13-9 victory against Juanita Sanchez Complex on the 8th. As for Classical, they have also already played their next contest, a 4-2 win against Davies Career & Tech on the 7th.
