After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Leuzinger, the Centennial Apaches were happy to have found some success on Friday. They blew past Inglewood 56-10 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Centennial has managed all season.
Centennial was led to victory by Aubrianna Flowers and Erin Jackson . Flowers scored 19 points along with seven assists and six steals, while Jackson dropped a double-double on 34 points and 16 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Jackson has scored at least 25% of Centennial's points.
Centennial's win bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Inglewood, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Centennial will face off against Hawthorne at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Inglewood's road trip will continue as they head out to face Leuzinger at 5:00 p.m. on January 10th.
