The Bishop Alemany Warriors will square off against the Liberty Patriots at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, Bishop Alemany didn't have quite enough to beat Simi Valley and fell 2-1. The Warriors have struggled against the Pioneers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Bishop Alemany got a good showing from Lukas Beltran, who struck out six batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Beltran has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Bishop Alemany saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Stevenson, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.
Meanwhile, Liberty faced Palo Verde in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Patriots walked away with an 8-3 win over the Panthers.
Nicholas Blakeney made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-7 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.
In other pitching news, Shawn Mack tossed a big game, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Chris Onoszko, who went 2-for-5 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Cam Dahlgren, who went 2-for-5 with one run and one RBI.
Liberty kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Palo Verde only managed seven hits.
Liberty's record now sits at 16-10. As for Bishop Alemany, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.
