The Great Oak Wolfpack waltzed into their match on Friday with five straight wins but they left with six. They enjoyed a cozy 53-34 win over Temecula Valley. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Great Oak also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Great Oak got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Bri Thomas out in front who scored nine points along with 11 rebounds and four blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayla Martin, who scored 12 points.
Great Oak has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Temecula Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Great Oak will take on Murrieta Mesa at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
