The Shasta Wolves can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They put the hurt on Enterprise with a sharp 49-28 win. The victory was just what Shasta needed coming off of a 79-49 defeat in their prior game.
Shasta was led to victory by Joriana Gibbens-egolf and Bria Tate. Gibbens-egolf scored 12 points along with eight rebounds, while Tate scored 17 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Riley Rosales, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Despite the loss, Enterprise still got an impressive performance from Keyona Dotson, who scored five points along with seven steals.
Shasta pushed their record up to 12-7 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.2 points per game. As for Enterprise, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season.
Shasta will be playing at home against Chico at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chico is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games. As for Enterprise, they will head out on the road to challenge Foothill at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Foothill knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four games -- so hopefully Enterprise likes a good challenge.
