After losing to Roosevelt the last time they met, Santiago decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Sharks walked away with a 6-1 win over the Mustangs on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Sharks.

Santiago pushed their record up to 11-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Roosevelt, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-7.

Santiago will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Mustangs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
