The Meyersdale Red Raiders lost against the Everett Warriors back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Meyersdale was outmatched by Everett at home and fell 49-17. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Meyersdale has scored all season.
Cloe Price continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Everett, scoring 27 points along with five rebounds and four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Price has scored at least a third of Everett's points. Another player making a difference was Addison Wood, who scored six points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Meyersdale's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Everett, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-6.
Meyersdale will stay at home for another game and welcome Southern Fulton at 7:30 p.m. on February 12th. Southern Fulton is coming into the matchup with six straight defeats on the road, meaning Meyersdale will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory. As for Everett, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 48-39 victory vs. Tussey Mountain on the 8th.
