This season hasn't been kind to the Rancho Mirage Rattlers, who are still winless after their ninth game. They had to suffer through a rough 61-4 loss at the hands of Brawley. Rancho Mirage was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 25-2.
Leading Brawley to victory were Isabela Trujillo Sepulveda and Jaelyn Salceda. Trujillo Sepulveda scored 14 points, while Salceda scored 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Salceda has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Breanna Montano, who scored nine points.
Rancho Mirage's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Brawley, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-5.
Rancho Mirage won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Desert Christian Academy at 9:00 a.m. on December 29th. Brawley and Yucca Valley will face off at 1:30 p.m. on December 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
