Eden Christian Academy can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Wednesday. They breezed by Monessen at home to the tune of 55-28. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Eden Christian Academy has posted since December 11, 2023.
Several Greyhounds players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Hailey Johnson, who scored nine points along with ten rebounds. Johnson is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season.
Eden Christian Academy now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Monessen, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-2.
Eden Christian Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against West Greene at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Monessen won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Mapletown at 6:30 p.m. on January 11th. Mapletown will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 628th, while Monessen is ranked 298th).
