West Caldwell had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They blew past the Bunker Hill Bears 80-50. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 24 points or more this season.

West Caldwell was led to victory by Bryson Edmisten and Kaydin Dixon. Edmisten dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 boards, while Dixon went 8 of 16 on his way to 20 points. Edmisten is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jay Maxwell, who posted nine points and three steals.

West Caldwell's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Bunker Hill, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

West Caldwell will look to defend their home court on Thursday against North Buncombe at 2:30 p.m. One thing working in North Buncombe's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Bunker Hill, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on West Lincoln at 8:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
