North Carolina High School Basketball - West Caldwell triumphant over Bunker Hill
December 20, 2024: Lenoir, NC 28645 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the West Caldwell Warriors (Lenoir, NC) and the visiting Bunker Hill Bears (Claremont, NC), observed West Caldwell's basketball team overwhelm Bunker Hill by a score of 80-50.
The Warriors (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC). The Black Hawks come into the non-league challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, North Buncombe trounced Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC), 65-52, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bears encounter the West Lincoln Rebels (Lincolnton, NC) in a 2A Catawba Valley challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Bunker Hill will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 87-54 league loss to Maiden (Maiden, NC).
