With the victory, Newton-Conover advances its record to 9-5 on the year. The Red Devils host Maiden (Maiden, NC) to meet the Blue Devils in a 2A Catawba Valley battle on Tuesday, January 21. The Blue Devils enter the battle with a record of 13-2. Maiden won 84-74 in their recent league battle against Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC)

The Bears now own a 2-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bandys for a 2A Catawba Valley battle on Tuesday, January 21. Bunker Hill will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 68-61 league loss to West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 10-5.
