Baseball Recap: Fowler's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Nine

Fowler waltzed into their match on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They never let the Riverdale Cowboys get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The Redcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by six runs or more this season.

Fowler's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Riverdale, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-14.

Looking ahead, Fowler will be playing in front of their home fans against Caruthers at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Riverdale will be paying especially close attention to the Redcats' contest: after the Redcats face off against the Blue Raiders, they'll take on Riverdale again at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
