The John Adams Academy Patriots will be playing at home against the Forest Lake Christian Falcons at 5:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (John Adams Academy has three straight  victories, Forest Lake Christian has three straight  losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
 On Monday, John Adams Academy strolled past Western Sierra Collegiate Academy with  points to spare, taking the game  65-46.
 John Adams Academy found their leader in underclassman  Elliott Schwartz, who  dropped  a triple-double on 21 points, 13  rebounds, and 11  steals. That makes it 12 consecutive games in which  Schwartz has scored at least 25% of John Adams Academy's points.  Grace Sabbagh was another key contributor,  scoring nine points along with three  steals.
 Meanwhile, Forest Lake Christian's 18-6 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They were outmatched by Sacramento Adventist on the road  and fell  63-20. Forest Lake Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  37-8.
 John Adams Academy has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Forest Lake Christian, their loss  ended a four-game streak of away wins  dating back to last season and  brought them to 1-3.
 John Adams Academy suffered a grim  61-35 defeat to Forest Lake Christian  in their previous meeting  back in November of 2022. Can John Adams Academy avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
