Softball Recap: Sequoyah Wins Going Away Against Bixby

Sequoyah had won three straight on the road, but on Saturday they bumped up to 3-2 to make it four. They blew past the Bixby Spartans 13-3. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Indians also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2018.

As for Bixby, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4. The game marked their lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

For Bixby's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kenzie Howard, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sequoyah will challenge Roland at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bixby, they will take on Bartlesville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
