  Nico Rodriguez was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  tossed  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Rodriguez has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in three consecutive pitching appearances. Rodriguez was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 Rodriguez wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Andrew Sauceda, who  went 1-for-3 with three  RBI.
 Meanwhile,  there's no place like home for Serra, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Friday. They walked away with  a   5-1  victory over St. Ignatius College Preparatory  on Saturday.
  Davis Minton looked comfortable as he  pitched 3.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit.
 On the hitting side,  Josiah Rodriguez was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Ian Armstrong, who  scored a  run while going 3-for-4.
 Archbishop Mitty has  been performing  well recently as they've  won nine of their last 11 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-9-1 record  this season. As for Serra, their win was  their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 18-5.
