Given Sandusky's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while Perkins is ranked 230th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Jason Henlon continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Kobe Brown, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds.
Sandusky's victory was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.1 points per game. As for Perkins, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-7.
Sandusky won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Scott at 6:00 p.m. on February 3rd. Sandusky has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,069 points over their last 15 matchups. As for Perkins, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Vermilion at 7:30 p.m. Perkins is facing Vermilion at the right time seeing as Vermilion is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
