The Fresno Warriors entered their tilt with the Madera South Stallions with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Fresno breezed by Madera South at home to the tune of 47-19. That looming 47-19 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Fresno yet this season.
Several Stallions players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was MICHELLE CORONA, who scored seven points. The team also got some help courtesy of JALISSA KIRKPATRICK, who scored six points.
Fresno is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Madera South, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.
Fresno will head out on the road to challenge Roosevelt at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Roosevelt is on a three-game streak of home wins, Fresno a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Madera South will take on Torres at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
