Germantown Friends won the last time they faced the Central Lancers, and things went their way on Saturday too. Germantown Friends strolled past Central with points to spare, taking the game 47-29. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Germantown Friends.
Jayda Wright and Stevie Hall certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Wright scored 12 points, while Hall scored 9 points. Another player making a difference was Senya Gaines-Ditto, who scored 2 points.
Germantown Friends' victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
Germantown Friends will head out on the road to face off against Academy of the New Church at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Academy of the New Church is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. As for Central, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Imhotep Charter at 4:30 p.m.
