While Griffin put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Flint River Academy. The Bears came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 3-0. The victory was familiar territory for the Bears, who have now won three games in a row.

The team relied heavily on Kaden Wooten, who went 2-for-4 with four stolen bases and one run. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Albert Casmere, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.

Griffin always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .515 or higher in three consecutive matchups.

Griffin's record is now 5-16. As for Flint River Academy, they moved to 5-4 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Griffin will be playing in front of their home fans against Rock Springs Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Flint River Academy, they will head out to face off against Harvester Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hawks have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season.
