Baseball Recap: Canoga Park Has No Trouble Against Fulton

Canoga Park won the last time they faced Fulton and things went their way on Friday too. Canoga Park blew past Fulton 13-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hunters.

Alberto Escobedo made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out 11 batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. Escobedo was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-2. He also put up a triple, which was his first of the season.

In other batting news, Aiden Jacobs was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and two runs. Those runs were his first of the season. Alexander Romo was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Canoga Park always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .633. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Canoga Park's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Fulton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
