Ricky Gonzalez was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in March of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing five bases while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in stolen bases.
