After losing to the Bret Harte Bullfrogs the last time they met, the Sonora Wildcats decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Sonora snuck past the Bullfrogs with a 33-27 victory on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Sonora.
It was another big night for Taylor Faught, who scored 19 points along with three steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Adeline Hanson, who scored seven points along with six assists.
Sonora is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 13-12 record this season. As for Bret Harte, their loss dropped their record down to 12-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sonora will take on the Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Summerville is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for Bret Harte, they will be playing at home against the Red Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
