Chen hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Cali Wallace, who scored 16 points along with two steals.
Willow Glen's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayden Okumura, who scored 13 points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Lucia Diaz, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds.
Leigh has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Willow Glen, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-5.
Leigh will head out on the road to take on Oak Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Oak Grove will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Willow Glen, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Silver Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Silver Creek is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
