The Carlisle Thundering Herd lost against the Cumberland Valley Eagles back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Carlisle took a 40-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cumberland Valley. Carlisle has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Sienna Manns was the offensive standout of the contest as she scored ten points along with five steals. She also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Bella Mcintire, who scored eight points.
Carlisle's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Cumberland Valley, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-5.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Chambersburg the next time they take the court. Cumberland Valley will host Chambersburg at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Carlisle will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on December 22nd.
