The South Brunswick Cougars will take on the Dixon Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. South Brunswick is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.6 points per game this season.

South Brunswick took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They came out on top against Southeastern HomeSchool by a score of 57-45. The Cougars pushed the score to 54-32 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cardinals cut but never quite recovered from.

The match pitted two dominant forwards against one another in Jayden Daniels and Max Brutus. Daniels had a great game and shot 55% from the field to rack up 15 points in addition to five assists and four steals. Meanwhile, Brutus was balling out in the loss, dropping a double-double with 27 points and ten rebounds.

Meanwhile, Dixon suffered their biggest loss since February 7th on Tuesday. They lost 74-52 to Heide Trask. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Brunswick now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Dixon, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

South Brunswick didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Dixon in their previous meeting back in November, but they still walked away with a 50-44 victory. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Bulldogs' Noah Wright, who went 8-for-17 on his way to 24 points and four steals. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will the Cougars still be able to contain Wright? There's only one way to find out.
