Softball Recap: Randolph-Clay Has No Trouble Against Early County

The matchup between Randolph-Clay and Early County on Tuesday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Red Devils blew past the Bobcats 17-6. The result was nothing new for the Red Devils, who have now won four contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory got Randolph-Clay back to even at 5-5. As for Early County, their defeat was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7.

Coming up, Randolph-Clay will venture away from home to challenge Terrell County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Early County, they will challenge Mitchell County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.25 runs per game on average), something the Bobcats will no doubt try to take advantage of.
