The Lincoln Mustangs waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with ten straight wins but they left with 11. They breezed by San Leandro at home to the tune of 60-21. Lincoln has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 21 points or more this season.
Tiara Ieremia was a one-man wrecking crew for Lincoln as she scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Shridavi Raghavan, who scored 11 points.
Lincoln is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. As for San Leandro, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-18.
Lincoln will look to defend their home court on Monday against Balboa at 5:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Lincoln's favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home while Balboa has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road. San Leandro's road trip will continue as they head out to face Piedmont at 6:30 p.m. on February 7th. San Leandro will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 645th, while Piedmont is ranked 74th).
