After a string of three wins, the Ainsworth Bulldogs's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 58-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Gothenburg. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Ainsworth in their matchups with Gothenburg: they've now lost four in a row.
Despite the loss, Ainsworth still got an impressive performance from Jocelyn Good, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. Good has been hot recently, having posted nine or more rebounds the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Gracyn Painter, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Ainsworth's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Gothenburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which somehow isn't as good as their 17-5 record this season.
Ainsworth does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Gothenburg also has no future games currently scheduled.
