The Foothill Knights's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Tustin Tillers at 6:00 p.m. on December 7th. Hopefully Foothill focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 34 on Monday.
Last Monday, Foothill was beaten by Beckman 59-30. While losing is never fun, Foothill can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 642nd, while Beckman is ranked 103rd).
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Jay Perez, who scored 3 points along with 16 rebounds and 3 blocks. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Rebekah Small, who scored 6 points.
Meanwhile, Tustin lost to Irvine on the road by a decisive 55-36 margin last Tuesday.
The last time Foothill won on the road was back two weeks ago. Having now lost four straight away contests, they've bumped their record down to 2-5. As for Tustin, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
Foothill came up short against Tustin in their previous meeting back in April of 2021, falling 44-39. Can Foothill avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
