The Lick-Wilmerding Tigers can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Urban 68-33 on the road. Lick-Wilmerding's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Leading Lick-Wilmerding to victory were Lauryn Lacap and Hailey Moy. Lacap scored 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals, while Moy scored 11 points along with five assists and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Amaya Tavu, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Lick-Wilmerding has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Urban, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.
Lick-Wilmerding on the road again on Monday and play against St. Joseph Notre Dame at 4:00 p.m. on January 15th. St. Joseph Notre Dame will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 622nd, while Lick-Wilmerding is ranked 264th). As for Urban, they will play host again and welcome University, where tip off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
