The Carter Lions's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against Eisenhower by a score of 50-40. The score was all tied up 20-20 at the break, but Carter was the better team in the second half.
Despite the defeat, Eisenhower saw an underclassman step up: Leyla Payan scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Camiya Horton, who scored ten points.
Carter's victory bumped their record up to 15-11. As for Eisenhower, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-10.
Carter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Eisenhower also has no future games currently scheduled.
