Lovett made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Holy Innocents Episcopal, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Lions never let the Golden Bears get on the board and left with a 3-0 win on Friday. Lovett might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by three goals or more this season.

With the victory, Lovett broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-7. As for Holy Innocents Episcopal, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 7-7.

Lovett and Holy Innocents Episcopal could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. The Lions will challenge Woodward Academy at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (222 vs. 18). Meanwhile, Holy Innocents Episcopal (ranked 249th) will meet Bluffton (ranked 30th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
