Make it ten blowout wins for the St. Anthony Saints this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat La Salle 58-20 on the road. With St. Anthony ahead 34-10 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Ryann Bennett continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 14 points along with five steals. She hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. Kadence Lloyd was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds.
St. Anthony has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which somehow isn't as good as their 16-5 record this season. As for La Salle, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 19-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Anthony will take on Claremont at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Claremont will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 90th, while St. Anthony is ranked 22nd). As for La Salle, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Paul at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Paul is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
