The San Diego Cavers's last match on Tuesday was all defense as neither team scored a goal. They and La Jolla finished up their contest with a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time San Diego has been dealt a draw since back in December of 2023.
San Diego's draw makes their record 5-9-2 on the season. Meanwhile, La Jolla's record is now 10-3-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Diego will take on Scripps Ranch at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Scripps Ranch's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for La Jolla, they will be playing at home against Mira Mesa at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mira Mesa's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
