Johansen hasn't had much luck against Grace Davis recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Vikings will take on the Spartans at 4:00 p.m.
Johansen is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Thursday. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Livingston.

Nobody will forget Braedan Johnson's heroic performance anytime soon (especially Livingston's batters): he turned in a perfect game. Johnson has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Johansen saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jesus Atayde, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Grace Davis, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Pacheco 4-2. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Spartans as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Logan Ariza made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances. He has become a key player for Grace Davis: the team is 4-2 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 5-7 otherwise.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mendoza Oscar, who scored a run and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high.
The win got Grace Davis back to even at 9-9. As for Johansen, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12-1.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Johansen has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Grace Davis struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Johansen might still be hurting after the 19-5 defeat they got from Grace Davis when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can the Vikings avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
