The Covenant Christian Academy Rams are taking a road trip to challenge the North Georgia HomeSchool Tribe at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
Covenant Christian Academy is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Horizon Christian Academy just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. The matchup marked the Rams' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Asher Bond was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 3-for-5. Bond is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least two every time he's taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Garrison Barton, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for North Georgia HomeSchool, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Mill Springs Academy with a sharp 22-1 win on Thursday. That 21 run margin sets a new team best for the Tribe this season.
Cooper Sikorski made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Sam Benjamin was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2024. Aiden OBrien also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
North Georgia HomeSchool always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .684. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
North Georgia HomeSchool's record is now 3-9. As for Covenant Christian Academy, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.
Covenant Christian Academy took their victory against North Georgia HomeSchool in their previous meeting last Thursday by a conclusive 11-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Covenant Christian Academy since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
