There's no place like home for Laguna Creek, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They blew past the Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack 52-31 on Wednesday. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.

Laguna Creek got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jestine Tofi out in front who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Trinity Thao, who posted 15 points and eight rebounds.

Laguna Creek smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 22 consecutive matchups.

Cosumnes Oaks lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Caitlin Subejano, who earned 11 points and five steals. That was a full 35.5% of Cosumnes Oaks' points, marking the fifth time in a row she's scored more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Skylar Williams, who put up nine points.

Laguna Creek's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points over those games. As for Cosumnes Oaks, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season.

Laguna Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 43-42 loss against Pleasant Grove on the 7th. As for Cosumnes Oaks, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 49-29 defeat against Monterey Trail on the 7th.
