Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Montgomery). They took their game on Saturday with ease, bagging a 52-18 victory over the Midd-West Mustangs. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Red Raiders as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Montgomery's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Midd-West, their loss was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Montgomery has already played their next contest, a 33-20 defeat against Meadowbrook Christian on the 28th. As for Midd-West, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 52-18 loss against Milton on the 28th.
