Christiana Macias was another key contributor, scoring three points along with four steals.
El Cajon Valley was without their leading scorer, McKinley Morgan, in Friday's game. With Morgan sitting this one out, Braelyn Rojas got some extra time on the court (eight vs. her season average of 4.4).
