The Villa Joseph Marie Jems had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They put the hurt on MAST Community Charter with a sharp 39-19 victory.
Tierney Hamilton and Rylie Fitzsimmons certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Hamilton scored 6 points along with 3 steals, while Fitzsimmons scored 2 points along with 11 rebounds.
Villa Joseph Marie's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for MAST Community Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Villa Joseph Marie will be playing at home against Mt. St. Joseph Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for MAST Community Charter, they will head out on the road to face off against Parkway West at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Parkway West is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
