Bourne and Dennis-Yarmouth Regional are an even 3-3 against one another  since September of 2015, but  not for long. The Canalmen are taking a road trip to  challenge the Dolphins  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Bourne will be strutting in after a  victory while Dennis-Yarmouth Regional will be coming in after a  loss.
Bourne is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another  one of Massachusetts' top teams: Medfield, who was ranked 20th  at the time (Bourne was ranked 18th). The Canalmen put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp  3-0 win on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Canalmen sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
 Bourne not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Medfield between 16 and 19 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-16,  25-19.

 Avery Morrill was the offensive standout of the  matchup as she  had 12  digs. She has been hot for a while, having  posted ten or more  digs the last nine times she's  played.
 Bourne  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 13  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in 22 consecutive  matches  dating back to last season.
Meanwhile,  after a string of four wins, Dennis-Yarmouth Regional's good fortune finally ran out  on Wednesday. They fell just short of Dartmouth by a score of  3-2. While the Dolphins didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Indians  25-20 in the first  set.
 Dennis-Yarmouth Regional started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 22-25, 25-14, 25-19,  15-8.
 Bourne's victory bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Dennis-Yarmouth Regional, they now  have a losing record of 9-10.
 Bourne took their  win against Dennis-Yarmouth Regional  in their previous meeting  back in October of 2017 by a conclusive  3-0 score. Do  the Canalmen have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Dolphins turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
